The ETRC Digital Labelling Solution
The European Travel Retail Confederation (ETRC) is an industry association for the duty free and travel retail industry in Europe, serving the industry and its members to help create the right environment to allow the industry to achieve its potential and protect it when challenges arise.
To support their members in light of increasing labelling requirements in Europe, ETRC has partnered with 1WorldSync to create a digital solution to allow consumers in travel retail to access regulatory product information in multiple languages across three key categories: Beauty; Alcohol; Food & Confectionery.
Introduction to the data pool
All participants can exchange consistent and continuously updated master data via the Travel Retail data pool. The data pool operates in the Global Data Synchronisation Network (GDSN). GDSN is a network of data pools enabling user collaboration to securely synchronise master data based on GS1 standards.
