The study describes the importance of product master data using various practical examples. These examples are supplemented by the results of two surveys - both from the manufacturer's and the retailer's point of view. Both surveys, in which a total of 60 companies participated, were conducted by the EHI Retail Institute in the 4th quarter of 2020. The study was conducted in cooperation with atrify GmbH, Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG and Markant Handels- und Industriewaren-Vermittlung AG.
